Nubian children in a very poor area of southern Egypt have very little resources in their very basic schoolroom. This school was built by the Aga Khan's wife Begum Salimah, on the edge of the Sahara. 

 

One of our Gita group tours undertook to transport educational resources to the school.

Gita students donated 1000 packets of pencils and texta colours and writing paper for the children's use.

The students and Principal were overwhelmed at the bounty and the possibilities!
