The M.E.S. Gita Teacher TrainingScholarship

The Khuti foundation has provided a part or full Teacher Training Scholarship for individuals to undertake Teacher Training since the course  started in 1984.

Its aim has been to create the opportunity for someone who is deeply motivated toward making the world a better place, but whose circumstances lack the financial wherewithal,to undertake the Gita Teacher Training Course.

Depending on the available funds, a part or full scholarship may be provided, at the discretion of the Directors, based on a candidate’s past history, suitability, potential and character.

The scholarship covers the fees for one student for the entire 20 months intensive study course.

Over the past Courses, more than twenty full or part scholarships have been provided.

In honour of  Margrit Segesman’s 85th birthday, in 1990, the scholarship was renamed in honour of her contribution to teaching yoga in Australia.  This early pioneering work has lead to Gita today having the enviable record world wide of producing quality, dedicated teachers who truly can teach.

If you would like to support this work, contributions to the M.E.S. Scolarship Fund are always welcome.
